CosRx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser Review

Skincare is highly necessary! Making the skin strong, resilient, and beautiful may be achieved by following a healthy regimen and caring for it properly. Cleansers are really useful in this situation. It is the first step in the skincare routine, so selecting one is critical, especially if you have acne or other blemishes.

The COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser is a foaming cleanser for oily skin that also contains salicylic acid to get rid of extra sebum and dead skin cells. Additionally, tea tree oil and willow bark water have been added to this product. Ingredients

Water, Myristic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Ethyl Hexanediol, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Oil, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Stearic Acid, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Polysorbate 80, Caprylyl Glycol, Glycerin, Potassium Hydroxide, Salicylic Acid, Lauric Acid, Butylene Glycol, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Water, 1,2-Hexanediol, Disodium EDTA, Glycol Distearate, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Citric Acid

I recall using products with salicylic acid as the main ingredient, and the results were really frustrating. My skin got irritated and inflamed, as if I had allergies, prompting me to discontinue using products containing salicylic acid. I then started to have these second thoughts when my coworker suggested this product. I’ve had this product for a long time and only started using it last month since my face is breaking out and I’m hoping it will manage it and keep it from becoming worse.

As you can see in the picture, this product isn’t particularly foamy, but I believe it has a significant cleansing effect on my skin since after rinsing it out, my skin feels tight and spotlessly clean. Since I moisturize and apply serum after, I don’t mind too much.

My face is cleaner, my pores are smaller, and my overall complexion is much better, all thanks to this wonderful cleanser. It doesn’t take much to generate a nice amount of foam, and even if the fragrance of tea tree is fairly overpowering, it’s not too awful. After applying it, my skin does feel pretty dry, but as long as you moisturize, it isn’t a problem. There are a few things to bear in mind, though. First comes the time of purging. I discovered that I developed spots over the first two weeks of using this. I did some study on this and discovered that it occurs frequently. Before giving up on the product, I made sure to utilize it for a sufficient amount of time to make sure it was a purging phase and not a severe response.

Thankfully, the purging stops after two weeks and my face starts to smooth out. Blackheads and whiteheads are gently fading away from my pores and getting eradicated. If you have breakouts while using this, don’t lose hope! Find out if they are purging or genuine breakouts by doing some study, and if they are purging, keep using them. As a result of my efforts, my breakout is gradually but steadily receding, and the majority of my skin is now clear.

This is a product that I will certainly repurchase and that I wholeheartedly urge everyone who experiences breakouts to try. This product’s brilliance and gentleness on my skin was palpable.

My Overall Rating
