Viet Ville Restaurant Review

I went on a midsummer trip to Puerto Princesa, Palawan, last month. The fact that I’m terrified of the sea has made me more hungry. I’ve had Vietnamese food several times before, so this is not the first time I’ve eaten there. And because we were seeking something other than Filipino food at the moment, we decided to check out the Viet Ville Restaurant after hearing about it from a relative who resides in Palawan.

In addition to other things, Viet Ville is situated in Brgy Sta. Puerto Princesa, Palawan, and Lourdes Island and is a historical location, neighborhood, and restaurant.  The community was founded in the 1970s by Vietnamese refugees fleeing the violence in their country. Even though there are just a few families living there now, the area is nevertheless vibrant and open to visitors.

In Puerto Princesa, the Viet Ville restaurant is a fantastic place to eat and discover Vietnamese cuisine. We will get a taste of the cuisine as well as the manner of life of the Vietnamese residents of that town. People who dine there will be able to connect with their culture and surroundings while also appreciating the food’s flavor because to the area’s peace and simplicity. Starting with its cuisine is perhaps the greatest way to discover a culture.

Vietnamese food sources are often manufactured with three components in mind: flavor, variety, and presentation. Food with a single variety of features is uncommon in Vietnam. A meal is often an assortment of flavors: bold tones from basic foods, a gentler tone of rice, and vegetarian dishes. In general, we can notice the balance and intricacy in the way Vietnamese cook.

It was the first time I had Banh Mi, which I loved very much. I can taste how crisp the veggies are and how soft the meat is. I also observed that Vietnamese spring rolls are created with rice flour and are quite light in taste, in contrast to Chinese spring rolls, which may be sleek and are often built with wheat flour. Dishes also use moderate seasonings.

Even though I’m not a huge lover of Vietnamese cuisine or cooking, this place is definitely worth a visit. Not only may we taste the cuisine they will provide, but you can also get a glimpse into their way of life and culture. I will suggest it to everyone traveling to Puerto Princesa who wants to find wonderful meals in their stunning city.
