La Roche-Posay Retinol B3 Serum Review

It might be upsetting to see oneself in the mirror and notice another small line accumulating. Aging skin seems rougher, thinner, and dryer. But, as we all know, as we become older, this is one of the most distressing things we may go through. There are several products on the market that can slow it down. That is why I consider myself quite fortunate to have had the opportunity to experience this product, which is included in my Allure Beauty Box subscription.

According to La Roche-Posay, their Retinol B3 Serum is an anti-aging face and neck serum with pure retinol that leaves skin feeling smoother, hydrated, and renewed. As a result, the look of lines, wrinkles and premature sun damage is reduced. This retinol serum combines concentrated pure retinol and vitamin B3 for optimal effectiveness while also being suitable for sensitive skin.

This retinol B3 serum is formulated with Pure + Gradual Release Retinol, Vitamin B3, and Glycerin, creating a triple anti-aging complex for optimal effectiveness and gentleness. This serum features a dermatological active, booster, and buffer ingredient in its formula which will make the skin immediately looks more luminous, toned, and hydrated. With continuous use, signs of premature sun damage are reduced; skin looks more toned and recovers it youthful bright look.

Benefits

I learned about this product through my Allure Beauty Box, and at first I assumed it was simply another cream, so I didn’t use it right away because the cream I’m presently using hasn’t been completely consumed. I like La Roche-Posay products, so when I saw this packaging, I quickly added it to my “To Use Box.”

After a while, the serum I was using was finished, so I went through my box and studied the package one by one until I came across this lovely little testing product. I expected this to be heavy and thick on my face, similar to other products that claim to be serums but have a creamy texture, but after opening it, I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it looked.

The product, as you can see, has a runny texture yet is filled with ingredients. The product has a faint scent that matches its delicate texture. It quickly penetrates into the skin and has no stinging effect.

Since I have oily skin, I cannot tell if there are fine lines, but I enjoyed how this cream made my face look. I use this product every night, and it makes my pores seem completely invisible. Because of a breakout, I have some large pores on my skin, but after using this product, I noticed that they were less noticeable. My skin became tight and simultaneously moisturized as a result. It enhanced the texture of my skin because it did not result in any outbreaks.

I’ve only recently realized that the product’s lid has developed a yellow discoloration. I initially believed that it would similarly reduce the product’s effectiveness, but after searching through several websites, I discovered that although the retinol may produce something similar after being exposed to air, it will still be intact and beneficial. My skin is now softer and more healthy. The $40 normal bottle is worth the money because it works well.

All I can say is that I will buy the actual or standard bottle in the future. I strongly suggest this to those with sensitive skin as well as those who have wrinkles and fine lines. 😊
