We finally made the decision to stay at the Aleph Doha Residences, Curio Collection by Hilton, which is three blocks from the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center and City Center Mall, after a long day of exhausting nursing work. The skyscaper residential tower includes a 52-story skyscraper with 240 apartment rooms (one, two, and three-bedroom units). It has air-conditioned lodging, free WiFi, a restaurant, and a bar. Along with a business center and a front desk open around-the-clock, it also offers free private parking.

The Aleph Doha Residences has a simple yet elegant lobby which has a congenial securities and receptionists. And due to Covid-19, most of us are worried about their sanitation, but according to them, to ease our minds, they partnered with RB, makers of Lysol® & Dettol®*, to help deliver an even cleaner stay for their guests with the creation of the Hilton CleanStay program.

The image above is the room shown in Aleph Residences. We have booked a room at Sky on the 17th floor with a sea view. It was the highest floor I’d ever been on, and I’d like to show you what it looked like inside our room.

The hall was spacious and spotless. The kitchen contains its own electric stove, oven, and cutlery set. We were also surprised to see that we had our own washing machine and dishwasher (which we have yet to learn how to operate). We also have a restroom located near the main entrance.

We have two rooms, one of which has a bathroom. The area is rather large. You will feel revitalized and calm. Actually, we booked this since we wanted to take use of its services, such as the pool area, but the unfortunate side was that the kids with us were unable to join the pool party due to the COVID-19. Anyway, they had a fantastic time since the good thing about this place is that each bathroom had a bath tub, so the kids loved the bubble bath instead. ☺️
The sea view was very beautiful. We really took this photograph while we were on the 52nd story, which is where the pool area is, but I was frightened of heights. I don’t have a fear of heights, but my vivid imagination got the better of me, so I put my camera away and relaxed by the pool instead. Although the pool is just 4.5 feet deep, there is no reason for me to drown even though I can’t swim.
Overall, I had a great time on our staycation. It would be preferable if the amenities were available inside the room and there was adequate drinking water so that we didn’t have to contact room service for toiletries and water. Anyway, this hotel is excellent and well worth staying at during a hectic day in the city.☺️
