Fiction is one of my favorite genres, and as an ardent reader, I keep up to current on what books I can buy, so here are the fiction novels that will be released this month.
1. Perestroika in Paris by Jane Smiley
According to the synopsis, this is a fantastical narrative about three exceptional creatures and a little kid whose lives collide in Paris.
After reading the entire blurb, it is a little strange for me because I have never attempted to read a novel with animals as the primary characters.

I am not fond and can’t find any interest in that, but the synopsis of this book is quite interesting. It reminds me of my favorite cartoon during my childhood years, so maybe I will give this one a try. One of the main characters in this book is a dog, and from what I have imagined, every book or movie with a dog in it may have a sad story in the end, so we will see. This book will be published on December 1 by Knopf Publishing Books.
2. Crosshairs by Catherine Hernandez

OK, so I’ve read the synopsis of this one about a dystopian tale of the near-future in an oppresive regime. This novel, I think, is about politics. I don’t know if I want to read it because I am finding it hard to read a book with a political world in it. Anyway, we will wait and see after this book is released and read some reviews about it from other book reviewers. This book will be published on December 8, 2020 by Atria.
3. Big Girl, Small Town by Michelle Gallen

They said this novel has a new voice that everyone’s going to love. As I read the synopsis, I became interested in what might happen to the girl. On how she will learn some things in her life: She is about to learn that there are a lot of things outside their town. I’m looking forward to this novel. This book will also be published on December 1 by Algonquin Books..
4. The Opium Prince by Jasmine Aimaq

According to what I have read on Goodreads, this novel explores Afghanistan on the eve of a violent revolution and the far-reaching consequences of a young Kochi girl’s tragic death. This novel sounds amazing and interesting. I am interested in what is happening in Afghanistan. Though this is not a non-fiction novel, this one may have a glimpse of what’s inside there. The Kindle edition of this novel will be released on December 1.
5. Memories in The Drift by Melissa Payne

Waahh… After reading the synopsis of this novel, I got really excited. This is another haunting novel by Melissa Payne about redemption, the power of memory, and a woman’s will to reclaim her life. I love novels like this. Among all these four novels, I will definitely read this one first. This book will also be published on December 1 by Lake Union Publishing.
These are the new fiction novels coming out in December 2020. I can’t control my enthusiasm, therefore I’m going to save enough to buy the novels I’ve chosen to read. 😊😊
