Toners are ubiquitous, and your skincare regimen would be incomplete without them. Depending on your skin type, it offers varied sorts and advantages. I originally confused these toners for astringents, but I quickly realized that they are not the same thing. I enjoy testing new skincare products, and I’ve tried a lot of toners since discovering Korean brands. Here’s one that I’ve been using recently and would want to write a review on. The product is the Berrisom Essential Boosting Toner.
This one was purchased from Jolse. Actually, I was not familiar with this brand, but when I saw this one, I decided to give it a try. The brand name Berrisom is derived from its two main ingredients, which are “berries” and “blossom.” The berries used are elderberries, blackberries, and cranberries, which are high in anti-aging antioxidants, and the blossoms are camellia and evening primrose, which help restore the skin’s youthful glow.
This is a refreshing toner that cleanses the face and contains tea tree and lemon to balance the complexion. It also contains lemon, which brightens the complexion, and tea tree, which helps combat acne. With vitamin C, it whitens the skin while also deeply cleansing to eradicate pimple-causing microorganisms.
How To Use:
Apply right amount on cotton pad, gently apply from inside to outside along the skin texture.
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Glycereth-26, Propanediol, Alcohol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Bis-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane, Betaine, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Flower Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Camellia Japonica Flower Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Arginine, Carbomer, Allantoin, Trehalose, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Fruit Extract, Euterpe Oleracea Fruit Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Disodium EDTA, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Chrysanthemum Indicum Flower Extract, Salicylic Acid, Citric Acid, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil
As I previously stated, I was unfamiliar with this brand, so when I saw it at Jolse and saw that it was far less expensive than the other toners, I decided to give it a shot. I like the colors yellow and pink, so when I saw this one, I was drawn to it. I used it the night after I received it, after waiting for it for two weeks. I used this twice daily, carefully massaging it into my skin with a cotton ball.
I adore the scent of this toner since I can detect lemon in it. I also like lemon and tea tree extract because they were good for my skin while I was in college, so I have a lot of trust in this product, especially since the mask is causing a minor breakout on my chin. You will see the fluid’s thickness, as shown in the following image.
My skin developed little bumps on my forehead over the first two days of using this product. I was not concerned at the moment since, for me, it will take days for the skin to adjust to the product that we are using, therefore I am still patiently waiting for the promised results. However, after a few days of use, the little bumps on my forehead began to grow over my cheeks. I stopped using it right away. I’m not sure what occurred because I’m not allergic to tea tree or lemon. Perhaps because of the thickness of this product, which makes it difficult for my skin to absorb its contents. And after discontinuing it, I saw that my skin had improved and was no longer irritated.
Actually, I was quite disappointed since this product was extremely inexpensive, and I finally believed I had discovered a product that I would enjoy at a lot lower cost, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It reacts horribly on my face, thus I will most definitely not buy it again.
💫Though I had poor results with this product, we all have various skin types, thus what works for me may not work for you, and vice versa. So it is always advisable to read comments and reviews on every product that we will use on our skin and to constantly consider our skin type and connect it to the products that we will use to avoid irritation and unfavorable effects. 😊😊
